TED TALK REFLECTION 12/2

  • Erik Johansson took interest on photography when he first got a digital camera when he was 15. His photos are capturing an idea not a moment. His photos show an allusion of his different photos being combined. He starts off with a sketch that shows what he wants to take a picture of and go on from there.

Keith Haring 1/20

  1. I think this work is about letting lose and having fun. I like how the artist made the people look a if they are at a party. I believe he was trying to communicate with showing how fun can probably be. The people seem to be dancing around or jumping. i like how he makes the people show some like a motions with the lines he puts on there.

David Hockney 2/15

  • The thing that catches my eyes is the way he uses different pictures to make this image. It shows the emotions from the guy he was taking the picture of.

In 10 years 2/17

  1. In my photomontage I put the 2 dogs, a tesla, a person taking pictures, an airplane, a house, and an FBI agent. I had put the two puppies because I would enjoying having a small tea cup Pomeranian and a golden retriever. If I ever learn to drive I would like a white Tesla as my 2nd or 3rd car. I would still enjoy taking pictures mostly on a film camera but also on a digital camera. I would love to travel and visit new places to take pictures. I hope in ten years after I graduate college I am an FBI agent. I would also enjoy a two story home.

Fashion/Advertising Photography 3/3

by Cole Sprouse I like the lighting in the background and on how the clothes pops out.

by Cole Sprouse I like the way the shadows are on her face and clothes.

for Armani I like how the perfume is in the bottom center and you can tell what is being sponsored.

 Favorite Photographer 3/13

My favorite photographer is Cole Sprouse. He’s not only an actor but also a photographer. He first started to take photos in college when he and his brother stopped acting for a bit. He specializes in photography that is mostly on fashion, reportages, and landscapes. I believe he achieves his results in the photos by finding good lighting on where he shoots. I enjoy his photography because I like how he sometimes relatable to real world issues. For example, this one: (the first picture.) I like how he also made it a fundraiser for the people that live in the forest or woods.  Cole’s photography is inspiring because it shows different aspects where he travels. One of my most favorite ones he has shotten was one in this icy blue cave. I like how it has a blue glossy type in the inside. Recently he has started shooting more fashion photography. He takes pictures for Canada Goose. His Canada Goose pictures are mostly on fashion photography. He has taken pictures of famous actresses and people from the music industry. His photography is amazing because he shows what he likes and on where he travels to with friends and families. Most of his fashion photography is shot in places that have a lot of sand or also in places that have small bodies of water. These are some of the pictures he has taken for them. The reportage he did was for when they were cutting down the trees in Canada awhile back. I also think that he achieves his results by making them more out in the open like desserts to just use a reflector. He mostly uses the reflector on his fashion shoots. I think his visual aesthetic is mostly on how he expresses himself in photos mentally instead of physically.  I enjoy his photography because he has not just one style but three. Fashion, landscapes, and reportages, and maybe including his travel/co-star’s photography. Recently a year ago he made a website for his fans, friends, and family to view his most of his work. His photography shows different aspects of himself. His fashion photography sometimes shows his funny side. The clothes sometimes are layered on top of more clothes. He has taken pictures of his co-start’s, his twin brother and one of the Jenner sisters. I like how is landscapes are of mountains, caves, dessert land, and of buildings. In conclusion, I really like his photography because he has had a very big impact in my life since his Disney years. I really enjoy that he didn’t only continue to act but also started a new path in his life like taking these amazing pictures of fashion, landscapes, and reportages. One of my favorite portfolios was his reportage ones because he has taken pictures of like the George Floyd protest. His composition techniques are very nice they have good lighting, even when its in a dark room. I like how he takes of pictures of anything or anyone when it’s not for work.

Photography Career Tree 4/27

  • Technical Career- Graphic Designer
  • Professional Career- Artist

The two jobs I would be interested in are graphic designer and artist. I think the thing that sparks my interest in these two jobs would be that I would be able to still draw or paint. I would enjoy working any where but I would most likely want to work in a town. Some responsibilities I think that would come with these jobs would be having a good quality and knowing how to draw and make things. I think the salary would be between 14 dollars an hour for graphic designer and for artist it would be 1.5k per hour. I would like to pursue in a photography field were i would be able to take pictures of crime scenes.
